For all you puppy parents out there...

When my Merlin was a puppy, I came up with a recipe for a really yummy puppy cookie. It's super easy and Merlin loved them. Tweak it a little and your two-legged kids might like it, too.

 

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
2 cups quick oats
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup brown sugar

 

Mix all ingredients well, form into 1/2 inch thick patties a little wider than a quarter coin, bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes, or until the outside is no longer moist looking and the cookie is slightly golden in color. Yield about 25 puppy cookies.
